Native plant and plant community ID workshops help attendees build confidence in identifying Sydney’s diverse flora, a renowned global hotspot for native plants. Eucalypt workshops (held across NSW), including beginner to master class levels, the sessions featuring hands-on guidance and are conducted in a classroom and bushland setting.

Paul is a consulting botanist and restoration ecologist with extensive field experience throughout NSW. An accredited assessor under both the NSW Biodiversity assessment Method (BAM) and Australian Association of Bush Regenerators (AABR). Consultancy services include targeted surveys for threatened flora, PCT identification, vegetation mapping, restoration plans and stewardship sites.

Paul is currently creating a series of accessible, field-ready plant identification guides to support learners of all levels in recognising Australia’s native flora. His Eucalypt Features Brochure offers a clear visual summary of key traits used in species ID—ideal for students, bush regenerators, and ecologists. His upcoming book, Eucalypts of the Sydney Region, is a detailed reference with diagnostic keys, photographs, and notes on species from Newcastle to Nowra and the Blue Mountains. These guides reflect Paul’s deep field experience and passion for practical botanical learning.
